With dozens of lawsuits filed over access to Barack Obama's certified long-form birth certificate, many more lawyers working on his behalf to keep it secret and the validity of the U.S. Constitution hanging in the balance, guess where a "certified copy" of the original Mombasa "document" has been found?

On eBay.

Item No. 160344928067, at least as of today, is described as "a certified copy of President Barack Obama's Kenyan Birth Certificate."

The seller, identified by the user name " colmado_naranja," states, "President Barack Hussein Obama II was born in The Coast Provincial Hospital at Mombasa in Kenya at 7:24 PM on August 4th, 1961."

The suspicion that Coast Provincial is, in fact, Obama's birth hospital is not new, with the subject having been discussed on both Internet blogs and forums already.

But the seller, who according to the eBay rankings has completed dozens of transactions on the behemoth auction site without difficulties, said this is the real deal.

The seller, who did not respond to a WND request for an interview, said online he was traveling in Kenya and repeatedly heard stories that Obama actually was born in Kenya.

Interesting Theology-Jesus in the Old Testament

I'm reading an interesting book, "Shocked by the Bible". He makes some interesting observations; such as 'God the Father' isn't in the Old Testament. The opening to John: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God." This means that Christ is the Word, that God spoke creation into existence, and from then he spoke through the living Word, Christ. What that means is that Christ is cosmic, existing through all time. What that means is that Jesus was alive and working in the Old Testament.

I've read at least a couple hundred books of theology and church history, and I never picked up on this. It was Jesus in the Old Testament that Moses, Jacob, Abraham and all the other Patriarchs and others were seeing and talking too, not God. There are verses, which I'll refer to later, that support that no one saw God in the Old Testament, or ever. My Jewish friends will of course not accept this, and rightfully so. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has put cap-and-trade legislation on a forced march through the House, and the bill may get a full vote as early as Friday. It looks as if the Democrats will have to destroy the discipline of economics to get it done.

Despite House Energy and Commerce Chairman Henry Waxman's many payoffs to Members, rural and Blue Dog Democrats remain wary of voting for a bill that will impose crushing costs on their home-district businesses and consumers. The leadership's solution to this problem is to simply claim the bill defies the laws of economics.

Their gambit got a boost this week, when the Congressional Budget Office did an analysis of what has come to be known as the Waxman-Markey bill. According to the CBO, the climate legislation would cost the average household only $175 a year by 2020. Edward Markey, Mr. Waxman's co-author, instantly set to crowing that the cost of upending the entire energy economy would be no more than a postage stamp a day for the average household. Amazing. Michael Jackson Dies

We've just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived.

Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive.

We're told one of the staff members at Jackson's home called 911.

La Toya ran in the hospital sobbing after Jackson was pronounced dead.

Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II.

Michael Jackson, the so-called "King of Pop" who emerged from childhood superstardom to become popular music's premier all-around performer before his life and career deteriorated in a freakish series of scandals, has died at the age of 50 after being rushed this afternoon to UCLA Medical Center, according to reports.

TMC.com reported that he may have suffered cardiac arrest, and according to MSNBC, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Steve Ruda told the L.A. Times Jackson was not breathing when paramedics arrived at his home and CPR was performed. He was then rushed to the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he was reportedly comatose. According to CBS News, paramedics worked to resuscitate Jackson for 42 minutes.

His troubled life had featured unimaginable wealth, with his "Thriller" album selling more than 25 million copies.

AmeriCorps feared bad press if IG investigation continued

One of the mysteries surrounding President Obama's firing of AmeriCorps inspector general Gerald Walpin is what prompted the White House, supported by the board of directors of the Corporation for National and Community Service, which oversees AmeriCorps, to try to get rid of Walpin so quickly and quietly?

On the evening of Wednesday, June 10, an official of the White House counsel's office called Walpin to tell him he had one hour to resign or be fired.  The action flew in the face of a law (sponsored by Barack Obama when he was a senator) that requires the president to give Congress 30 days' notice, plus cause, when he intends to fire an IG.  In this case, the White House apparently wanted to dispatch Walpin quickly by pushing him to resign, which would not have required the president to go through the congressional notification process.  Instead, Walpin refused to quit, and only then did the White House tell Congress.

Why the rush?  Walpin had certainly displeased the board by his aggressive investigation into the misuse of AmeriCorps funds by Kevin Johnson, the former NBA star who is now mayor of Sacramento, California and a prominent supporter of President Obama.  Prior to his election as mayor, Johnson ran an educational organization called St. HOPE, which received $850,000 in AmeriCorps money.  Walpin discovered that Johnson and St. HOPE had failed to use the federal money for the purposes specified in the grant and had also used federally-funded AmeriCorps staff for, among other things, "driving [Johnson] to personal appointments, washing his car, and running personal errands." The patriarch of the Orthodox Church of Ethiopia says he will announce to the world Friday the unveiling of the Ark of the Covenant, perhaps the world's most prized archaeological and spiritual artifact, which he says has been hidden away in a church in his country for millennia, according to the Italian news agency Adnkronos.

Abuna Pauolos, in Italy for a meeting with Pope Benedict XVI this week, told the news agency, "Soon the world will be able to admire the Ark of the Covenant described in the Bible as the container of the tablets of the law that God delivered to Moses and the center of searches and studies for centuries."

Now that Barack Obama and the Democratic Congress have straightened out the automobile industry, solved the banking problems, ended the housing mess, reversed the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression and have begun the process on providing universal health care, they are setting their sights on saving the planet from the ravages of "man-made, catastrophic global warming."

How are they going to do it?

The same way they solved all the other problems – by stealing more wealth and freedom from you, your children, your grandchildren and your great-grandchildren.

However, there is one difference between the issue of "climate change" and all the others.

All the other problems actually had at least some basis in reality. In other words, there really were some problems associated with the automobile industry, the banks, housing, the economy and health care. I would suggest to you that the very people designing the "solutions" were responsible for creating those messes. And I would also suggest to you that their "solutions" are actually only going to make matters worse.

But, at least, we can all agree that there were some issues needing to be addressed – if not by Washington, by someone.

In this case, the very crisis itself has been manufactured out of whole cloth for the express purpose of redistributing wealth, inhibiting freedom and empowering government beyond our wildest imaginations.

You don't have to be a rocket scientist to understand this. In fact, it helps if you are not an employee of NASA – because NASA has a vested interest in exploiting the "global warming" myth.

But while banking and car-making and the economy and health care are all tough issues for ordinary, untrained people to understand, the weather is most definitely not.

Let's face it – farmers can predict the weather as well as most meteorologists. With a homemade barometer, a thermometer and an understanding of cloud formations, I've trained my 9-year-old daughter to do as good a job at predicting the weather as the local weather professionals.

Most of us live in climates where the temperature range can easily top 40 degrees in a 24-hour period. Did you ever think about that? It's not unusual to have temperatures rise 40 degrees or more from night to day. In some climates, the range can be much higher – in one day!

Over the course of a week, you can see much more significant changes in temperature.

Over the course of a month, you will witness even greater changes.

And, of course, over a 365-day period, you will see temperature changes that can easily top 100 degrees. Again, far more in some places – like New York, Chicago, Boston, Minneapolis, Denver and so forth.

Few people perish as a direct result of those wild temperature swings. We dress differently. We heat or cool our cars and homes to adjust. We adapt.

Yet, the "climate change" zealots tell us that a one or two degree temperature change over the course of 100 years is somehow going to be cataclysmic. It's going to spell disaster of apocalyptic proportions. Some even see the world as we know it coming to an end as a result of this small change over a great period of time.

They are also seemingly oblivious to the fact, not conjecture, that such changes in temperature – and even far greater ones – have occurred in the past 4,000 years without resulting in global disaster.

Further, there is no real evidence of any significant change in global temperature in the previous 100 years – certainly not warming.

And, even more to the point, there is no evidence that man's activity on the planet is causing, or could cause, any change in global temperature.

Nevertheless, that won't stop government from stealing more from you – both wealth and freedom. Because this plot is not about saving you from higher temperatures. It's about empowering themselves at your expense.

A U.S. organization has been receiving money from perhaps unsuspecting Jewish donors to support blatantly anti-Israel groups.

American Jews wishing to donate money to Israeli causes routinely utilize local city Jewish federations as a middleman. Hundreds of millions of dollars per year are sent to Jewish federations across the country with the expectation contributions will be used to aid worthy causes in Israel.

Many U.S. Jewish federations as well as individual Jewish donors give to the New Israel Fund, or NIF, a Washington, D.C.-based foundation dedicated to fostering social change and progressive causes in Israel.

The NIF budget

comes from a combination of donors. These include the Ford Foundation, grant organizations such as the Jacob and Hilda Blaustein Foundation and the Andrea and Charles Bronfman Philanthropies, as well as various Jewish communal federations such as the Jewish Federation in New York, the Durham-Chapel Hill Federation and the Jewish Federation of Grand Rapids.

However, while many of the programs run by the NIF are considered laudable in the pro-Israel community, such as work the group does with economically disadvantaged Ethiopian immigrants, the flagship grantees of the NIF are Israeli-Arab nongovernmental organizations that openly and unabashedly dedicate themselves to removing the Jewish character of the state of Israel.  MORE>>>>>>

General Electric, a top-20 source of funds for Obama in 2008, and owner of the Obama-friendly MSNBC, already has strong ties to Democrats, but the company has bolstered that relationship, according to recently filed federal lobbying registrations.

GE's transportation business has hired as a lobbyist Linda Hall Daschle, wife of Tom Daschle, the former Senate Democratic Leader and Obama's first pick to head the Department of Health and Human Services. Mrs. Daschle will lobby on issues including Amtrak, high-speed rail, and freight rail, the lobbying form says. Obama has declared support for added federal funding for high-speed rail.

GE is also a member of the U.S. Climate Action Partnership, which lobbies for restrictions on greenhouse gas emissions.

The man most credited for creating the China miracle is Deng Xiaoping. In 1961, Deng broke ranks with Chairman Mao and hinted at the capitalist pragmatism that would follow Mao's death: "It doesn't matter if a cat is black or white, so long as it catches mice."

With that idea in mind, Deng allowed China to slowly outgrow the shackles of communism, experimenting at the edges until the country transformed itself.

The Venerated Deng (his nickname in China) said something else quite useful too. "Keep a cool head and maintain a low profile. Never take the lead - but aim to do something big."

If Deng were around today, I wonder what he would think about the open aggression China and Russia have shown against the U.S. dollar. He would no doubt agree with the ultimate aim of doing something big. But in the great game of currency markets, the "low profile" part of his advice may have been shed too soon.

Don't Go Berserk

Chess strategy is defined by concepts like time, space, force and pawn structure. A critical variable is how much of the board one controls. Another key variable is how effectively one's forces are deployed.

A common mistake of amateur chess players is taking the "berserker" approach. A typical berserker play would be sending out a knight and bishop to start a fight, seeing one of them get captured, and sending out another lone piece to continue the attack.

Here's how a New York Times article today lays out the states' budget crisis:In Hawaii, state employees are bracing for furloughs of three days a month over the next two years, the equivalent of a 14 percent pay cut. In Idaho, lawmakers reduced aid to public schools for the first time in recent memory, forcing pay cuts for teachers.

Is there really Anti-Gravity Technology?

George Knapp was joined by physicist and author Paul LaViolette, who discussed the physics behind anti-gravity propulsion technology and showed how it is not only possible, but is currently being used in secret projects by our own government. "We're sort of being held in a 'technology cage,' on purpose, for fear of change," he said about what he believes to be a decades-long clandestine development of anti-gravity technology by the United States. "A lot of this work has been going on since the end of WWII, if not before," LaViolette said about the quest to break the bonds of gravity. He detailed some of the early experiments conducted by Nikola Tesla and T. Townsend Brown, who both used electricity to affect gravity. LaViolette noted that, in the mid-1950's, numerous aviation companies were not only attempting to develop anti-gravity technology but were quite open and enthusiastic about it -- until 1959. "Suddenly it was like a blackout in the media," he observed. This sudden silence, LaViolette surmised, was at the behest of the US government. He asserted that the B2 Stealth Bomber is a contemporary craft that utilizes anti-gravity capabilities. LaViolette speculated that it uses jet engines to take off, but then makes use of anti-gravity propulsion to maneuver. This, he said, adds an additional layer to the jet's stealth capabilities since, if his theories were correct, it could "go into the stratosphere, or beyond, and then just come down directly over the country they were entering."
